1955

In 1955 Luis González Fausto's dream began. Obsessed by the shiny white discs he found inside the covers, he asked himself: "What is this? Why not do it? And he began to look for the raw materials they were made of, PVC and cardboard, to study how to apply it.

1956

In 1956 Facarlyte de México S.A. was born, located at Antonio León y Gama No. 25 in Colonia Obrera.

1966

In 1966 Change of name to Laminados Facarlyte S.A. de C.V.

1968

The first important technological leap was made in April 1968 with the arrival of the Zimmer Plastic machine that came from Germany accompanied by technician Shules who installed it and taught us how to use it.

1973

In 1973, we had our first expansion from 200m2 to 400m2 with the addition of the winery at Lorenzo Boturini 128, which was located behind León y Gama.

In 1978 we had our second expansion from 400m2 to 2,000m2 in Tlalnepantla where we had acquired two lots of 2,000m2 each. In Mariano Escobedo 123 A and 123 B.

1983

Another important moment was the arrival of a machine that we acquired from Don Elias Amione in 1983. This machine had a Reverse type applicator and a Knife that served to apply thin and thick coatings respectively which were dried or cured in a 9m long oven.

1985

In 1985 we were awarded the International Quality Trophy.

1988

Undoubtedly one of the most relevant moments in our history was when in 1988 we started extruding plastics with an extruder designed to foam polyethylene. That was the birth of the Facar Peel brand.

1989

In 1989 we replaced the aluminum that we used to provide a barrier for our Facarsyl with a Saran film that we applied dissolved in solvents, and later in a water-based emulsion. With this change we were able to significantly lower the prices of our barrier materials.

1999

After many years of litigation, we were able to recover the land at Mariano Escobedo No. 123 B that we had rented to a tennis club, and in 1999 we had our third expansion from 2,000m2 to 4,000m2.

2005

On October 21, 2005, we were certified ISO 9001-2000, which marked a new era in organizational culture.

2006

In 2006 we received a Rotomec laminator and two-color printer and started to customize some of our warranty seals.
